Why We Exist

Mobile Home Repair Problems We Solve Across Southeast Michigan

Most mobile home owners in Southeast Michigan know some version of the same story. The floor's gone soft in the hallway. There's a stain spreading across the bedroom ceiling. The pipes froze again in January. The steps are rotting and the park sent a letter about it. These are the calls we take every day.

A manufactured home isn't a small version of a site-built house. It's built to the federal HUD code, and almost everything under the skin works differently — the framing, the plumbing runs, the roof system, the floor deck, the underbelly and vapor barrier, the crossover ductwork, the skirting, the tie-downs and piers. Those differences are exactly why the repair has to be done a specific way. A belly sealed correctly stays dry for years. Heat tape run correctly holds through the coldest week of the winter. Roof coating applied to the right prepped substrate lasts.

Three brothers — Joseph, Paul, and Levi — with more than 30 years of combined experience built A1 around that idea. We made mobile and manufactured homes the only thing we do, so every home we walk into is one we already understand.

That's the whole point of this company: when a mobile home owner has a real problem, we answer the phone, show up, and fix it right the first time.

Problems we get called for every week

Not sure which one it is? Send us a photo and we'll tell you what we're looking at.

Single-wide, double-wide, or modular. In a park, on a private lot, or on leased land. Same process every time: an owner walks it, an owner prices it in writing, and an owner signs off before we call it finished.

Meet the Owners

Meet the Three Brothers Behind A1 Mobile Home Services

When you hire A1, an owner walks your job, prices it, supervises it, and answers for it.

Joseph

Co-Owner & Project Manager

Joseph manages the projects themselves — scope, sequence, materials, and schedule. He makes sure the work in the field matches exactly what was promised in the estimate, and he's the one who signs off on quality before a job is called complete.

Paul

Co-Owner & Customer Care Consultant

Paul is usually the first voice homeowners hear. He walks people through what's wrong with their home, what the options are, and what comes next — then stays reachable through the job so you're never wondering where things stand.

Levi

Co-Owner & Estimating / Claims

Levi handles estimating and insurance claim repairs — walking the home, documenting the damage, writing the scope, and working directly with adjusters so homeowners aren't left to fight their carrier alone.

How Every Job Runs

An Owner Oversees Every Mobile Home Repair We Do

Here is exactly how a job moves through A1, and who is accountable at each stage.

It starts with a phone call and a ballpark range

Before anyone drives out, tell us what's going on and we'll give you a ballpark range for that kind of work — so we both know we're on the same page about the investment. If the range works for you, one of the three brothers comes out, inspects the belly, roof, plumbing, or damage in person, and puts an exact written price in your hands. Free, with no obligation.

An owner plans and schedules the work

The scope, the materials, and the sequence are set by an owner before anyone starts — based on what your manufactured home actually needs, not on what's fastest. You'll know what's happening and roughly when.

An owner supervises the work in progress

A1 owns the schedule, the scope, the materials, and the standard. An owner checks the work as it goes and keeps you and your mobile home park's office updated on where things stand.

An owner signs off before the job is closed

No job is finished until a brother has inspected it and walked it with you. If something isn't right afterward, you call A1 and you talk to an owner. The warranty is ours and the responsibility is ours.

What Owner Oversight Means for Your Home

It isn't a slogan. It's a commitment we put in writing and stand behind on every job.

FAQ

Common Questions About A1 Mobile Home Services

No. Estimates are free and there's no obligation. Before we ever schedule a visit, we're happy to talk it through on the phone and give you a ballpark range based on what you're describing — just so we both know we're on the same page about the investment. If the range works for you, we come out, look at the home, and put an exact written price in your hands. Most estimates are scheduled within the same week — request yours here.

Usually, yes — and we'd rather do that up front. Tell us the size of the home, what's going on, and where you're located, and we can give you a realistic range for that kind of work. It isn't a quote, because we haven't seen the home yet and there's almost always something under the skirting that changes the number. But it tells you what this type of repair typically runs, so you can decide whether the investment makes sense before we ever set an appointment. Call (586) 364-8420 and just ask.

Yes. A1 Mobile Home Services LLC holds Michigan Builders License #2423007374 and carries insurance. We're happy to provide current certificates before work begins — many parks require them on file, and we handle that for you.

Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday, 6am to 6pm — call (586) 364-8420 during those hours. For after-hours emergencies, text (586) 364-8421. Frozen or broken water lines, storm damage, and open roofs get priority, and a text gets to us faster than a voicemail at 11pm. Send a photo with it if you can — it helps us know what to bring.
